In order to support Moonight until it's return on APRIL 25th, please turn off your tv during the 8pm-11pm EST viewing period then stream Moonlight episodes from CBS.com during this time period. If that is not possible, watch your TiVo (that's counted by the network).

They're cancelling Beth n Mick after two more episodes. Now what?
05-03-2008, 01:19 PM
I can't find any information that it was cancelled? Does someone have a link?

I'm going by the way the network advertised the show, two more eps, you're going to miss them when they're gone... stuff like that, real final-sounding...

This (http://www.tv.com/moonlight/show/68684/story/11095.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=headlinessh&tag=headlines;title;0om_act=convert&om_clk=headlinessh) is the latest I could find on it and it looks like it is still up in the air.

Thanks for the link Karri, although I wonder why the network said 'you're going to miss them when they're gone'... just sounded kinda final to me... I hope TV.com has the inside story... that'd be good to know...

This (http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index.php?category=1&id=53211) is a good sign as well

I agree. I find this much more definitive/reassuring. Thanks again, Karri beari...

I heard that these "fan campaigns" were actually initiated by the network. They had the idea for blood drives way back when the season started but asked to hold them back for a better point in time...
I'll see if I can find the original article (I read it on a German website)

Oooh, clever. Network initiated fan-drives...
05-13-2008, 02:44 PM
Hope it works. I remember reading an article in the last couple of days on MSNBC that the outlook isn't good for the show.

well it appears to be official, it is cancelled. :( http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristin/detail/index.jsp?uuid=bcd23d80-5b18-48f7-b51d-849b9ce82e17
EDITED TO ADD: Apparently not totally official until tomorrow when they announce it at the upfronts.

Looks pretty official to me :(

this really sucks.

not happy about this at all. seriously, they won the frakking People's Choice Award....what is wrong with CBS? they just, gah! didn't have enough faith in it. i think this was the only show i watched on CBS after Jericho was gone. ah well...i am sure they don't care.

i don't understand it either. i saw the ratings and they weren't bad. sure they weren't great, but this axing a show after the first season by all the networks is getting really REALLY old. ABC did the same thing to a show that was winning its timeslot! makes no sense to me.

:crybaby: noooooooo!! Oh I so liked this show.
