Is he really dead? I want to see more of him, i'm uncomfortable for this mysterious character to be cut short so soon, i want to see him just get up and walk off or something.
Hopefully we will see more Abaddon prior to this event, i want to find out what he is, where he has been, why he chose those people for the Freighter mission and was it because they were in the island's past?
More Lance Reddick

I am starting to believe that Abaddon lied to John about his own walkabout trip. Like he said he convinces people to help them get where they should be. I would have loved to see some sort of flashback of Abaddon's own journey to the island.

Well, if Ben tried to kill him (and said it was done), I believe he is really dead!

He's dead because he also has a Fringe network to be at.

I think he's dead. Are we surprised the Island let him die though???

I think he is dead but hopefully we will see him again either in a flashback or he could make an "appearance" like other dead characters do. He did tell Locke that one day he would owe him....I hope we get to find out what that meant.

Yeah, I thought that Locke would be more grateful to him.

i don't know that abbadon had all that much to do with the island, or that he had even been to the island. i think he was more or less working with charles, facilitating what charles wanted done.
and ben had sayid killing off all of charles' men, but didn't know about abbadon, so he did it himself after sayid left ben's payroll

His death seemed a bit rushed to me. I second the opinion that Lance Reddick wanted to be let go to concentrate on Fringe.

This was one of the most dissapointing parts of this episode. I for one was looking forward to learning more about Abbadon who has been a mystery since he was introduced. I agree that it seems rushed.

So do i, it was something that wasn't even raised this episode, which i find bizarre considering this episode did little more than tie up lose ends.

I dunno, all the camera angles during the scenes with him and John in the car were quite strange sort of like there was something else in the car with them. And then when he died they showed his body from a creepy angle with one eye staring out.
I just feel there something a bit off about it.
He's great though, totally goes from being quite friendly looking to sinister instantly. Hope he's in it again.
