I would assume so. Why keep it on? It's not like he's going to heal any further (as far as the funeral director knows), and it just makes it hard to put on his burial pants.

In preparing someone for burial, the funeral home would remove anything like a cast. They don't bury people with those on.

If a post-mortem was required, then I suspect the pathologist would have removed it.

I agree that we have been shown scenes coming from multiple timelines without them being identified as such, but I think the cast is just something any funeral director or medical examiner would have removed.
