Any actor that can make me hate and fear the character with a passion: is a good one, in my opinion :D
And wow did Ethan creep me out. I was partly happy and partly sad that he was killed so soon (especially without answerers...)

However* I was thinking of a way to get you back. Assuming Ethan was one of 'the others'. What if all 'the others' look the exact same? That would be extremely creepy in my opinion. And would give you a huge amount of work ;)
That might explain why you needed that baby, either it will in the end look like you as well (by some miraculous way) or it would've been able to bread the circle...

Well just an idea, if you like it, feel free to pass it on to the creative team ;) LOL

What if that illness the team of the frensh lady had, is actualy some mutant sickness that changes them and turns them in to... you...
So were originally someone else, and got sick, now look like that... and the team of rousseau was changing aswell, and that was why she shot them.
Now the blood of the baby was the cure ... and that's why you needed that baby: to get healthy again.
(I think I've watched too much Buffy ... you know: 'it's always about the blood')

a well, it would just be fun to see you again :)

will you be in any flashback scene?
Maybe some flashbacks from Claire to see what happened to her..?

Thought I'd write another message.
I've just seen the finale and must say that if those people on the boat were 'the others', then that was highly dissapointing!
Now... maybe you're wright and Ethan was just trying to protect Claire and the baby (though I doubt that for such a motive he would need to kidnap her and almost kill charlie and kill Scott to get her back... 'need' her back.. but okay) but still I thought he was way more scary then these weird 'hilbillies' that took Walt.
I say we should make a patition to get you back on the show and creep us out again, the show is getting nowhere without you... lol

But honestly, weren't you dissapointed by this finale?
And the 'big cliffhanger'.. (woohoo... the hatch goes deep down...)

The finale really did bring the question back: Who is (was) Ethan???
I sure hope they'll bring you back to resolve that problem!

ps: even though the colony-idea was ridiculous... I still think 4 Ethans (or just 1) on that boat, would've been WAY more scary then those people that were there now.

i loved the finale, actually. it was like a huge feast spiked with something that only makes you hungrier. the point, i believe, is to make addicts of those who aren't already.
