I must say, you play one of my all-time favorite bad guys! And Ethan is one of my favorite villians because he's surprisingly scary. You play him very convincingly! If it means anything to you (and it probably doesn't)...when Homecoming aired, I had a couple friends over to watch the episode at my house...when Ethan jumped out of the trees and tried to run down Claire, we all screamed. In fact, we missed part of what was going on because we were all freaking out. :lol2:

Which brings me to my question (which I hope wasn't asked...I wasn't able to find it anywhere...): Did you have fun doing the fight scenes with Matthew Fox? I could just imagine that you two had a blast beating up on each other during those scenes! And what's it like to play a character that you know scares everyone?

erin,

i'm so thrilled i made you scream. and that you stopped screaming, eventually.
i had a ball with matthew, as i always do, both on the set and off. he's a terrific guy and actor. friendly, professional, caring about the work, and very approachable. working with people like him make the job almost embarrassingly fun.
re. your 2nd question: i don't know. i don't really think of it that way, b/c i'm hopefully inside the character, and the reaction to him is secondary. it's fun afterward to hear that people were affected by the performance, of course..
