I'll echo everyone else's sentiment and say that you pull the creepy off really well. I find Ethan to be creepier than Locke (Locke has a more subtle creepiness), and that's a testament to your acting abilities.
Now my questions:
I read in another post that you write scripts--may I ask what genre? I'm gonna guess comedies based on your killer sense of humor! ;)
You probably can't answer this, but I figure it's worth a shot:
I noticed that in Homecoming, Ethan's sclerae are a dark blue when he's choking Charlie. Was this done on purpose?

mandy,
nice use of 'killer'. any use, really, outside of describing ethan gets a thumbs-up from me. yes, comedies. except when the writing isn't going well. then they're tragedies. or at least that's how i feel.
re. the 'scl__ae": this is a public, family website, mandy. please respect that. anatomical terms in latin are highly, highly inappropriate. plus, i was dressed, so you couldn't see my sclerae anyway. i only show them to people i'm very, very close to. please, mandy, you're embarrassing me.

Killer is a great word isn't it? Except when used to describe Ethan of course...
scle·ra (sklr)
n. pl. scle·ras or scle·rae (sklr)
The tough fibrous tunic forming the outer envelope of the eye and covering all of the eyeball except the cornea; the white of the eye. Also called sclerotic.
You scared me for a second there-- I actually thought I used the wrong word!

oh, that sclerae. why didn't you say so? i have no idea about the dark blueness. is it your tv settings? maybe the way it was lit?

I don't think it was the tv...alot of other people said they noticed the same thing. they look pretty blue here, too:

Seeing that screen cap again makes me wonder where you got those scratches...

i can see a small streak of blue to the left of my left pupil, but i have to say that the rest of my sclerae seem more a dirty white than dark blue.
those scratches...boy, that's some story...

I don't know how long it takes for the iron content in your blood to begin thinning, or how Ethan's genetics play into this. But if he wasn't getting his daily requirement of red meat, he could have had an iron-deficiency, which can cause blue sclera. Was Ethan ever feeling fatigued? Did he ever feel short of breath? Maybe that's why he took Claire's baby -- he knew he was getting anemic and just wanted to eat the baby to raise his iron level. Poor thing.
Next time a rerun of Homecoming is on (God knows ABC loves to show reruns), you'll have to tell me if they seem blue. It's when you're choking Charlie and you get all up in his face.

maybe this falls under the category of 'things i didn't know about my character.'

maybe i'll ask the next time i see a frightened editor scurrying by.

Why would an editor be frightened? Are people that creeped out by you?
