I know, I know... my friends are calling me a nitpicker and probably I am but this question is bothering ever since I've read an article in a magazine and they spelled Boone's surname "Carlyle" while at the same time everyone else I know spells it Carlisle.

Really everywhere you look (Ian's official website, thefuselage.com. imdb.com, tvtome.com) it's always "Carlisle". But there's a screenshot from 1x21 (I think) where Shannon is holding some papers and they read "Boone Carlyle".
I guess that should answer my question, really, but I'd like to have it confirmed by someone from the show, cast or crew I don't mind. Just anyone, please!
