Hey. I find all the Steve/Scott confusion pretty funny, especially now that you've switched from playing Scott to Steve. How do you feel to be a running gag on the show?

How big is the pool of extras that work the beach/cave scenes on Lost?
Do you know if any of them auditioned in case the creators decided to make one or more of the extras have a bigger role in the future?
Was Daniel Roebuck (Dr. Arzt) one of the extras? (Probably not, I bet.)

Here's the information on Steve/Scott I compiled from watching the show. You said in another thread that you had some extra information on them that was cut out - if it's not top secret I could add it to the dossier.

Steve Jenkins and Scott Jackson(DEAD) are the best background characters ever. Each is often confused for the other. They'll probably be reoccurring and I suspect one of them will become a regular at some point. But not Scott Jackson, winner of a two week prize vacation to Australia, who had every bone in his body broken by Ethan! Steve didn’t know about the polar bear until Hurley told him. Steve is sleeping next to (with?) a survivor called Tracy.

I might have to update this to say that Steve died but everyone thinks it was Scott who died.

i find it strange how everone caught the first name messup then in the edited scene they mess up our lst names too but nobody caught the messup on who died. i am scott and i still go to work.

there is a pool of 34 extras that have worked from day1 but occasionally a few others make it in.no Dr. Arzt was not an extra.

sleeping next to tracy....cant wait to film that one lol!
