Hey - I emailed you ages ago about how you became a writer on the show (I don't know if you remember, small-town PA girl, in love with the writing of LOST. Probably get that all the time, eh?) You wrote back telling me to move to LA. While, as of right now, I'll be heading to NYC in August, I'm starting work on a spec script to use in a Disney writing fellowship application. This would put me in - guess where? - sunny LA. I was wondering a few things:

1) Since ABC is owned by Disney (as is 75% of the world), do you think this is a disaster waiting to happen?

2) Where should I place this episode: after the finale or somewhere between other episodes earlier in the season?

3) Should I try my hand at a Rose flashback, or would that be out of place? I'm debating between her and a Hurley episode taking place before he wins the lottery, regarding the institution rumors.

This is a huge endeavor and probably a foolish one, considering I could never hope to live up to what you guys have done so far, but it's worth a shot. Thanks so much!
