I was somehow struck by the image of you having a copy of "An Essay Concerning Human Understanding" in your trailer for light reading between scenes. :D Had you read Locke before, or have you checked him out after being cast as his namesake?
Speaking of casting, did JJ Abrams ask you to read for Lost because he's worked with you in Alias, or did you go in for the part in your usual way? (I'm assuming with your long resume that you are often asked to audition for certain roles or just offered them outright.)
You'll be glad to know that Locke has finally erased those feelings of dread I used to get every time you appeared onscreen due to Stepfather flashbacks. He's a marvelous character, and you're riveting in the part.
