Hi Christina, welcome to the Fuselage! I think it's great that you're working on Lost! I have a question, for someone who is interested in becoming a writer for a TV show, what advice would you give them to acheive that goal?

hey kayla -
thanks for writing! what are some of your favorite shows (besides "lost" of course)? have you written a script before? my most basic advice would be to get your hands on copies of scripts of shows that you like and study the format and the characters before you start writing your own spec idea. i'm not sure if that's what you're asking about or if you want to know more about what you do after you have a good sample written. let me know and hopefully i can help!
best,
christina

Thanks Christina. Besides Lost I love the O.C. I know, two very different spectrums of writing. Thanks so much for the idea. I will use that idea. Analyzing scripts for their format is really fun. Thanks a whole bunch. But, do you know where you can get scripts or just ananlyze them off of TV? I know, that question might sound stupid. Thanks so much.

hey kayla -
how's it going? i'm a huge O.C. fan as well...and i know damon and carlton watch that show too so you're in good company. :) as for finding tv scripts, that's a really good question. there's a website that i've used before to find film scripts and i think it has tv scripts too. type in "drew's scriptorama" in google and you should find the site. hope that is helpful!! good luck with your writing!!

Thank you so much. Hmm, now I know a secret of Damon and Carlton's. I hardly know any guys that watch the O.C. I'll type in that webiste. I've found a site that has Lost scripts it called Twiz TV or something like that. Thanks again.
