Considering the danger associated at the end of S1, I was wanting help/opinions from everyone in listing who all is packing heat.

Sawyer - lost his gun when he was shot, right?

Sayid and Charlie - are they still packing or did they put the guns up before returning to the caves?

Jack - did he take a gun with him into the Dark Territory?

Personally, I think that Sayid should be the only one packing but I'm not sure.

Uh... Sayid got the guns? Jack gave all the guns to him except for Sawyers. So... Sawyer and Sayid? I thought Sawyer still had the gun in his hands.

Sayid gave Charlie a gun when they went after Aaron but I don't know if he got it back from Charlie. Also, I thought that Sawyer dropped his gun when he got shot and fell off the raft.

I would HOPE Sayid would take the weapon away from Charlie as soon as possible...:p

So do I, especially if Charlie has a full statue. Not a good combo there.

Sayid definitely - he's got the key to the case.

Charlie possibly - unless as Elfdream said, Sayid took the gun away from him at the first available moment. I have a hard time picturing Charlie carrying the baby and packing a gun. Not to mention the statue full of heroin. :eek2:

Maybe they stopped off at the Halliburton and deposited their guns on the way back to the caves?

Pretty sure Jack gave the gun to Sawyer for the raft and he did say that Sayid had the others to take with everyone to the caves - and I would imagine that also meant the key.

I have a hard time seeing Charlie and Sayid stopping on the way back to deposit the guns in the dark while holding a baby. Plus, shouldn't Sayid hold on to his gun since the others are still supposed to be coming any minute now?

Did Sawyer drop the gun when he was shot or take it in the water with him? Would it work after getting wet?

How many guns do they have total? 6?

I have assumed all summer that Sawyer would have dropped his gun,
but know "thanks to this thread" maybe he hung on to it!

I think Charlie's still got a gun. He wanted to protect Claire, he got the gun from Sayid when Aaron was taken, and I don't think he'll be making plans to give back the gun anytime soon. He's still thinking about Claire and Aaron.

We never actually saw Sawyer drop the gun.....more than likely after being shot and falling into the water he would have dropped it......but what would be more interesting of a story line, the guys floating at sea unarmed and helpless or the guys finding there way back the LOST Island and sneeking up on the captured LOST-a-WAYS and rescueing them while a gun battle rages on between the floaters and the "Others"

I would like Sawyer to keep the gun as well but I thought I saw it fall when he did. I also keep hoping either Sawyer or Jin are able to get ahold of the motor boat somehow, lose line or something, and are able to follow the Others back to their hideout. I know that's reaching far but I like the idea.

Seeing either Jin or Sawyer floating behind the boat would be funny. That would be hard to hold on for a long time being dragged underwater but that would be an interesting way to start an episode, from someone's point of view being dragged behind the little tug boat.

I'm dying to know how the raft folk are going to get back. I hope Sawyer managed to hang on to the gun and gives them a little payback. No one shoots the eye candy and lives!

I dont' think Jack kept a gun..he gave the case to Sayid, one gun to Sawyer, and Sayid & Charlie both had one when they went to look for Rousseau (who is also armed). I agree with the person who said they probably didn't stop to put the guns back when taking baby home to Claire...so that makes Sawyer (who dropped it, don't know if wet guns will fire); Charlie, Sayid, and Rousseau.

All we know for sure is that Sayid cocked the gun when he threatened Locke with it in TGG.

And didn't Sawyer have his gun in his hand when he was shot and went overboard from the raft? Unless he was super careful, that gun is probably at the bottom of the ocean.
