That's right! My agent just got off the phone with Damon, or as I like to call him, Big D, and they have signed me to appear in two episodes. Of course, now that my fanbase has grown due to reruns and the DVDs just out, you can bet Ol' PB's pricetag went up. I demanded to make equal pay with Vincent and a new trailer WITH A BETTER AIR CONDITIONER. And I'm bringing my posse with me from the Arctic. We'll teach these guys how to party. Bearstyle!

Any truth to the rumors that the polar bear on Desperate Housewives makes twice your salary?

Don't think so. I'm sort of in a class by myself. I like to think I'm paving the way for other bears in show business. REAL show business.

No, there's no bear on Desperate Housewives. My union rep assured me of that!

Do you do your own stunts? Also, aren't you pissed off that Vincent has his own section in the Characters messageboard? I think a petition needs to be started.

THANK YOU! I've been lobbying for my own thread in the character's section since last season. And yes, I do my own stunts. The director tells me, " Go over there and growl, make a lot of noise and be scary." What's up with that? What is my motivation? They only show me my pages of the script so I don't understand the context of my character.

Hey, it's a job. I do what I'm told. I just hope they don't kill me off. Primetime gigs are hard to come by.

Hawaii is surprisingly moderate in climate, but I'd kill for a juicy sealburger.

Hello :)

Mr. Bear,
I am a huge fan *gushes* and I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to ask you a question or two about your performance on Lost.

First, did you sit for the comic book drawing or was that one of your kinfolk? It did look an awful lot like you.

Secondly, my son has a photo of you and Josh Holloway sitting on the beach having a Mai Tai after work together. Would you be willing to autograph it for him? It would make his week!

Thank you, and BTW I think you were ROBBED. You should have gotten an Emmy nod too. Animals are treated so unfairly. Grrrr...

Polar Bear I'm so glad to see your still around. I look for you in every scene, but hardly ever see you. Did it hurt when Michael stuck the knife in you?

Are you and Vincent friends, or competitors? You'd make cute babies.

I heard you took a little vacation with Evil Toast. Is that just a rumor?

Any truth to the rumor that it was between you and a penguin for the role of the "Beast" on the island, and the penguin just happend to "leave the audition"?

Sorry for being tardy in replying. My shooting schedule has been grueling. Climb this tree, growl, run around in the jungle. And I might add it's DAMN HOT. So here goes: The polar bear in the comic book is actually based on my uncle Fritz. The camera doesn't like him quite as much as yours truly but he can look scary when he wants to. I would be happy to sign any autographs but I rarely make personal appearances. J.J. tried to get me to go to the last convention in L.A. but I was in Venezuela shooting a beer commercial. As for my relationship with Vincent, let's just say it's chilly. Don't tell anyone where you heard this, but he is quite the prima donna, demanding his own personal trainer and chef, when all he eats is Kibbles 'n Bits. He's rude to the crew and I think he is developing a drug problem. Yes, fame has gone to that dog's head.
