Did anyone notice that QUARANTINE was in RED during the promos/commercials but then in BLACK in the actual episode? Am I crazy or did other people catch this as well?

I notcied this as well. Maybe when they showed it in the promos they added a red hue to the scene to give it a more intense effect. It also looked like a different angle though.

yeah... i could say that it was a mistake... but i wont. they do most things for a reason... but i have no idea what the reason is... maby its another thing that says QUARANTINE

To me the sign seemed like it could light up in the promo. It looked spray painted on in the Ep. Anyone got caps?

I noticed it too! Either they are messing with us or they just highlighted it for effect in the promo... but that is odd!

They may have made it red so you couldn't read it. I know I couldn't.

They WERE different, one was blackish silver and the other was red. Either thats a really big mistake on their part, or they did it on purpose to create even more of a mystery :D :D

We've also seen the Quarantine in white, that makes 3 signs

If you watch the first season on DVD you will see that they change things as they go some times. The Polar Bear attacking Sawyer was the most prominent thing I noticed, and the explanation is hilarious.

In this case, I think it was just a creative decision. What worked on the promo did not work in the episode for someone, so it was changed to another take or altered with CGI.
