The logo form - Octagon implies danger in official use.
The thing in the middle could very much be a form of Yin Yang symbol but looks kind of distorted.
About the lines within the octagon... well, in Feng Shui thereīs someting called Trigrams. Itīs common to arrange them in terms of eight, wich is often done within a shape of an octagon.
Now, what it means I donīt know, but it adds upp pretty well. Some explanation of the different functions of the Trigams you can find here (http://www.kheper.net/topics/I_Ching/trigrams.htm).
I hope this can make us all get further ;)

The logo reminded me of a Feng Shui Bagua. We have a bagua mirror on our front door and it reminded me of the logo in the ep right away. Each of the eight sides has a trigram as mentioned above, commonly used for protection from bad energy and also used for reducing the impact of negative energies coming towards a house or building..

And let´s not forget that the sum of those energies adds up to 108, As posted in the YinYang thread!

Here is a mock-up of the image. Everything is correct except the words that cross the serpent in the middle. I cannot read the words, they are too blurry. If anyone has any idea, please let me know.
The image appears on the door of the medicine cabinet in Desmond's bunker, as well as on the jumpsuit he dons in the beginning.
Personally, I think it is a stadium layout. As for the serpent and the words, well, those are anybody's guess.
Also, on the shirt that desmond is wearing when He and Jack are doing their Tour De Stade, It looks like a winged creature similar to the firebird (car) logo, surrounded by a pentagon. Any suggestions on that?

About the text in the logo... Dharma (if it is that) is associated with Feng Shuiand and Trigrams...The word itselfs means "duty". So the expression "finding dharma in your life" - means to find your duty in life.
Search the net for sometinhg called the "Dharma Wheel" and you find something that refers to "The wheel of law".Wich looks very much like an origin of the logo!

Well, that's a pentagon drawn around what appears to be a representation of a phoenix. Pentagon is, as we all know by now I'm sure, 108 degrees on the interior angles. Why the phoenix... if it is a phoenix... I don't know.

I've had a theory for months that they're somewhere in the Phoenix islands. This mention of the phoenix in the logo jumped right out at me. Here is a link to an article on the Phoenix Islands.

Well, wasn't there a project called the Pentagon Phoenix Project - the goal being to rebuild the Pentagon after the 9/11 attacks. I don't see any relevance, though.
