To find the person, when you enlarge the picture, look straight up from Michael's right elbow (that's Michael's right, not your's LOL) right there between to two palm trees is what looks like a guy standing next to a trash can.

The yellow thing, which looks like a small boat, is directly up from butt crack man's left shoulder.

Since we are looking at a promo pic, they usually aren't "shots" from the camera. They are just snapped or snagged from other film, hence the visibility of pads that people will lean on and boom mike shadows on the ground. I would bet that in the actual show neither the person nor the yellow thing is visible at all.

The person's easy enough to pick out. And while the yellow bit does seem a smidge out of place I'm not really buying it as a boat/plane/etc. I'm not seeing any real definition that would suggest that myself

Well obviously something that large & yellow would not come naturally on the island. I was thinking a boat or plane.

And for those who think that it will probably not be in the set and final production take a look at this screen capture from the end of adrift. Look inbetween Michael & Sawyer in the background. You can make out the yellow whatever it is?

The promo pics have a lot of this out of place stuff, thankfully most of it doesn't make it to air.As a resident of "The Island" and a fan of that particular stretch of beach, my guess is that the "yellow thing" is a lifeguard stand, probably moved back into the trees but not entirely invisible when you look as closely as "Lost" fans do. :) I imagine they paint these things over, but probably miss them now and then.

Alright...this photo was from adrift, so it's already happened. Obviously the yellow whatever is still there, but so is the man in the background (that we see in the promo picks for Orientation.) Look b/t Mike & Sawyer, he is to the right of the leaning palm tree. Hmmm...who is that? Why isn't he with the others? (the others may be the tail end survivors or the actual "others") Is this significant at all?

LMAO well for all we know they havent had it as *easy* as the Lostaways. Probably a lack of freshwater and comfortable sheltors. Not to mention no doctors and someone capable of hunting with a knife. Heck they may not even have knives.

NO idea at all where you are seeing the figure and the yellow thing. It is comepletly invisible to me. Maybe my eyes just suck, but I see nothing.
