Firstly,congratulations on winning the awards-well deserved by the way!

Secondly,as said in the title I am a UK fan. Lost is a HUGE hit over here and I just wanted to say thanks for helping to create a brilliant show. I have only seen 9 episodes and I am looking forward to the Claire centric one tonight.

On to the question:

What inspired you to create the series?
