I read somewhere that 2 characters we're gonna be killed off--a male and female. Have you guys heard anything about this. PLEASSSSEEE don't let it be Desmond, why can't they make him a regular???? Make some other character be all mysterious. What do you guys think?

I'm thinking since he had to type in those numbers every 108 minutes, he rarely got any sleep right. Do you suppose he missed typing in those numbers at one point since he asked Locke if the world was still out there?

But, since he was playing Jesus, I had to put the curb on that thought (Hee, Hee, Hee!!) But, since he is playing Desmond, I say he is very, very attractive. I am telling you the truth, Ian has it made.

"A dime a dozen" comes from the Depression era when you could get a dozen rolls for a dime. It later became a saying to indicate the cheapness/over availability of something as that price has never come back again. :biggrin: I love sayings and their meanings. I know millions of them!

LOL, I know what you mean! I keep telling myself that I can't look at any more pictures of HIC as Jesus, because I keep noticing things like, "Ooh, his chest is so well-sculpted right there..." Then I say it's the actor, not Jesus himself that attracts me in... that way. They should not have picked such a good-looking man to play Jesus! Not that Jesus himself wasn't nice-looking...

I don't think I have watched it with a "lustful" eye...
Not the first time as that was my first exposure to Ian...my remark was how gorgeous a man he was but I don't think my loins ached or anything...lol. (I have a copy of a great literary write up of Jesus Christ Superstar, Ted Neeley and loins, if anyone is interested.)

Subsequently...well I just think a great portrayal of J allows for a deeper understanding and love of the man. Ian provides that. Love for Ian, love for Jesus...it's all good.

I can tell you that when I listen to the soundtrack, I tend to tear up. That damn gorgeous music of Jeff Danna's...elicits the same emotions when heard as those felt while watching the movie. I have cursed Mr. Danna personally for this...I believe he is pleased with evoking that effect.

They'll have to. Afterall, if Desmond's story is true, then he probably doesn't know how to get off the Island once the relief shift comes. I suspect that, having run off after his conversation with Jack, he may well be looking for his own way out, and that he'll end up finding the survivors again.
