Then, she took that big ole bottle of shampoo... I'm sure she needed it, but I digress... very selfish...

Then, she can NEVER find Jack in the jungle, but she sure as heck found the shower...

Poor Sun is planting and working, people are doing things, and this hoochie is sneaking into a shower AND USING ALL THE HOT WATER!!!

I can't wait until Ana Lucia comes over and knocks the smack outta her!!!

I don't like Kate either. She lies, she steals, and she killed her first boyfriend. That takes some effort. Can't say that I'm mad at her for eating some candy bars or taking a bottle of shampoo(I know I would :) ). I don't like her , because I'm confident that she will end up with Jack by the time this is all over and done with(BARF) and I think he is too good for her.

I love kate's character, it's my favorite. She's very dynamic and that's different for a tv show. I don't blame her at all fo taking the candy bars, or shampoo (which she did leave in the shower for others to use).


And in all fairness, I don't htink she killed her first boyfriend.

I think it'll be Ana who gets the smack knockin' ! Kate has been surviving for years with
the police & Feds after her. And in the flashback scene at the hospital, we see that she
can go through an armed lawman like he's nothing. Kate does whatever she has to to win.

I think Ana is a con artist like Sawyer and will prove to equally scrappy with Katie. I'm not a big fan of Kate but she is a well written character, very different from other women characters on TV right now. I personally want to smack Ana around myself for her cruel torture of Sawyer! It's be a good fight though! I think a lot of guys...and some girls, will tune in especially for that potential scene! Everyone likes a catfight!

Well, she did tell Jack to take a shower, and she left the bottle of shampoo in the shower. I hope they set up some sort of rotation system where everyone gets a chance to take a shower (not everday of course cause I don't know how much water they have!) and for the washing machines too! It grossed me out that she put on the same clothes without having washed them first. :eek: Oh wait, actually we didn't see her put on any clothes, but I bet they were the same ones and she didn't wash them in the washing machine. I wonder how much detergent and stuff they have! They should all wash their whites together and colours, instead of people doing their laundry separately, this way they can save water and whatnot.

Anyway, I'm not a huge Kate fan either. But I like her a whole lot better than that Ana Lucia chick, poor Sawyer :(

Kate is gonna give Ana a beatin' for hitting Sawyer like that. A catfight is always good though. :)

I think the idea of actually being really clean again drove her temporarily nuts and she wasn't thinking straight.

It will be interesting when she and Ana meet up. It won't be just the man trouble..what do you want to bet that Ana is a better hunter, tracker...leader better EVERYTHING than Kate..or maybe even Locke.

The girls had been awake without sleep for how many days trekking through dark territory, being chased by monsters, hald at gunpoint, transporting dynamite. As a fellow chick with long hair, I would be dieing for some shampoo too, and frankly, after everything she's done, I really don't blame her. Also, she had no clue how things would turn out with the pantry, or if she would ever get to come back to the pantry. What idiot who had been without any real food for 6 weeks would NOT take some food with them?

eh- she was doing what anyone would after having not showered for a month...Besides Sayid said there was a thermo generator & the pipes were hot which means plenty of running hot water.

She seemed to imply Jack should get in the shower now but she wasn't leavin ;)

Plus she was down there doing her shift of duty.

They can show her in the shower as much as they want. No complaints here. Except for that stupid towel.


Seeing as they're sitting on a geothermal power generator that's been in operation since the 70's, I don't think hot water is going to be a problem.
Infinite natural heat, with natural springs for their water supply.

Even if they run out of soap and shampoo, they've got limitless hot water.


As for the candy bars, when she took them from Desmond, they were fair game. He locked her in a closet at gunpoint. A few candybars are a fair trade.
Who knows what she was going to do with them. She might have been planning on sharing them with the group.

Well if I were lost on an island in the middle of nowhere for over a month, and all of a sudden I had candy bars and showers galore, I would surely be taking advantage of that.
