I may be wrong since the background is a little blurry, but it sure looks like Shannon walking in the background just behind Hurley and his friend as they're leaving the record store (right after he runs into the card/cd stand). I know other flashback sequences have had other survivors in them (Hurley in Jin's, Sawyer in Boone's, etc.) so it made me wonder if this could be another one. I may be wrong- could someone please watch the tape again and tell me what you think about this theory?
The person seems to walk and look just like Shannon but you can't make out her face...

I thought it was her, but I wouldn't be suprised if the writers made it blurry on purpose to get everyone talking on the boards. Regardless, I thought it looked like her.

She doesn't look as tall as Shannon.

Not Shannon, hair too thick, wavy, wrong body type.

I immediately thought it was Shannon, then ruled it out. TPTB have never been shy when having the characters cross path off the island, and I don't think they would have made Shannon so blurry if it was actually her.
