our character song contest for LOST radio, hosted by our very own DJ Kaidy.

Each week there is a contest for a character on LOST and Desmond's character won this week. Basically songs are submitted by Fuselagers that we believe are suited to your character or the plotline in general. Great songs were requested this week and I believe it will be an awesome show! I hope you get this message in time!

Hope to see or hear from you soon!

Thursday 7 - 9pm EST.

Hi Ian!

YOU WON! There was even a brief stint with a Desmond impersonator (aka Speaker here on on the Fuselage).

The show is divided into 1 hour of classic rock and the second hour newer rock mostly 80's. There was even a wonderful Scottish one, the title eludes me. sorry.:frown:

These are just a few of the Desmond song selections played (they were all great!):
=========

"Obladi Oblada" by the Beatles which actually sings about a guy name Desmond.

"One is the loneliest NUMBER by Three Dog Night. This one was perfect! lol

"Tired of Waiting" by The Kinks

"Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns and Roses

"Dancing with Myself" by Billy Idol lol

"Superstition" by Stevie Wonder
----------------------

"Very superstitious, writings on the wall,
Very superstitious, ladders bout' to fall,"...

When you believe in things that you don't understand,
Then you suffer, Superstition ain't the way" It was perfect - they all were!
----------------------

Those are just a few. The show itself is recorded and archived on http://www.lost-radio.com/season2.html. It should be ready soon.

THANKS FOR RESPONDING!

Hi Ian - I almost missed your edit today. I understood what you meant because of course I immediately researched The Dears. Kaidy (the LostRadio DJ) was on the hunt for it too.

I like the sound of the album as a whole - some of it's very ambient. I instantly loved Lost in the Plot and downloaded it as well as Warm and Sunny Days for two compilations I'm creating. iTunes has become my new expensive habit -I've gone compilation crazy! :ohwell:
I had to laugh at the album title No Cities Left because it was quite fitting for what "Desmond" believed. You could have won your own contest had you submitted it.

I hope you enjoy the show as much as we did! The recorded version is now up:

20 Oct 05 Desmond

Part 1 and 2 classic rock; parts 3 and 4 modern rock/pop. If you ever want to replace the Desmond impersonator on the show (beginning of part 1) let us know.
