I have been a "Lost" fan since last season, but Desmond has quickly become my favorite character. Your acting is amazing. I was very drawn in by your performances from the very beginning. Your character is so multidimensional-defensive yet caring, somewhat comical and a little sarcastic, paranoid yet serious, articulate, and focused.
I'm a fourth grade teacher and several of my students and their parents watch the show, also. My kids (as well as their teacher:) ) would be thrilled if you would respond and give us a big hello!
I also have a question. You have acted on stage, movies, and television. I'm sure there are specific challenges inherent to each, but do you prefer one over the others?
