Ian, there has been a lot of talk, (and a few spoiler pics) about your episode, Hearts and Minds, and how “racy” it is. Do you feel that is an accurate description? And if so, are you worried at all about what the fans reaction will be?

Also, I just wanted to say that I am such a fan. I think you are such a talented actor, and, though we have never met, I believe you to be a very down to earth and genuine human being and I wish you nothing but the best.

P.S.

I also asked this of Jorge as well, (and he was kind enough to respond), but I am moving to the island soon (when, and if, you read this I will probably already be there) but I was wondering, what are some of your favorite spots on the island. I love getting the inside scoop from someone who lives there. Thank you.

I was rushing through the post and realized i had misspelled words. Upon going to correct it, I realized that the post had been sent. My apologies...

Racy??? Well, that is such a vague word I believe. Uh, it could or one may
say that aspects of it cross the line of the aforementioned word. However,
storytelling is pastime and job that was thoroughly enjoyed the throughout
the filming of this episode.
Welcome to the island, it's a great place to live with many and I mean many
great people and places. The North Shore is always a favorite place to be or
Lanikai beach.
Aloha,
Ian

Thank you, Ian, for taking the time to answer, and the extra time to fix your post.* I appreciate both.

I am looking forward to the show tonight, and then I can weigh in on the whole "racy" issue. Thanks for your honest answer.

Oh, thank you for the kind welcome, how sweet. It is amazing here, and each day is better and better. I will be sure to check out those places you mentioned. Thank you, once again.

Aloha,

So after watching the episode again, and again, and yes again, I just wanted to add my thoughts. I personally think the term "racy" described the subject matter of the episode, more than any actual scenes (or one particular scene, as the case may be.) In my opinion, I thought the show was amazing. I found the scene in question to be totally hot!! Though I know others found it to be just plain "wrong." All in all, I believe that it just depends on who you are and what you would consider "racy." So, before I keep rambling, let me just say once again, I loved this episode! It has become one of my all time favorites. Congratulations on your amazing performance Ian and a stunner of an episode!
