Charlie gets jealous of locke. Eko takes a path through the woods to try to get sawyer back faster to the lostaways because he is getting worse. Ana yells at everyone for talking to the jungle. Michael tells Ana she has to tell him what happenedto them.She says the Others came first night took 3 tailees then two weeks later took 9 others. Says they are unstoppable.

Yeah, just a lot. And I think that Eko is the unofficial leader. They were lost at the beginning of the episode without him. I think everyone listens to Ana because she's bossy, but they rely on Eko.

Ana didn't do it on purpose, you could see the regret in her eyes. If she would've known that Shannon wasn't an Other she wouldn't have shot her. She did because she was freaked out by the voices.

True, she definately fired on instinct, considering she just heard whispering, they all jsut heard it. Her crew has been losing members since the beginning. She just lost another member, while carrying Sawyer up the hill.

Speaking for myself only.. I disliked her because of how she treated people - like throwing them in the pit after knowing they were survivors and no threat and then barking orders like a dictator without explanation. Finally tonight she answered some questions - but that still didn't make me like her any better - even with just cause to be angry doesn't make it right to treat people like she does. As for the shooting, I'd agree that it was totally accidental and that she didn't intend to kill or hurt anyone. I don't blame her for that at all. But I still dislike her because of the way she treats people. And that doesn't seem very likely to change.

This ep was great. But I HAVE to stop reading spoilers. I knew everything that was going to happen. But the two big issues that I didn't see coming were

a) Sayid could see Walt too (didn't he nod his head yes when Shannon asked him?)

b) That Cindy chick is gone. She was the flight attendant on the plane. And based on the preview from next week, there is more to her for sure.

I dont think we will like her any more at all. She didnt shoot Shannon, she looked like 'what the heck happened' I think Danielle killed her. Everyone will think it was Ana, then danielle will come back for a cameo and say no I did itbut by then everyone will hate her even more.

Then why did he run? Why didn't he just stand there so that she wouldn't run to her death. The fact is that he ran, she followed, and she died. That vision led to her death, and, to me, it almost seemed intentional.

It's probably not really Walt but some illusion telling her to be quiet. He or it probably ran because they're not supposed to meet like when Jack saw his father in the jungle in Season One.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I'm certain that
Ana Lucia has a connection to Kate because either:
A) Ana Lucia may have been involved with Kate running from the law in the first place (Arrested her possibly)
B) Ana Lucia is a friend/accomplice of Kate (who was it that was writing the letter to Kate in her last flashback?)
C) Ana Lucia may have been the marshal's secret partner/back-up on the flight (though I doubt it the way she was drinking in the airport)

I think this just might have been the best episode of season 2.

It did seem to go much faster than the others. I like all of them so far, honestly, but this one really zoomed by. It was nice to finally have someone stop and say "we arent doing anything until you tell us wtf is going on around here" too. Granted. she didnt go into a deep explanation, but it was nice to see some common sense being used.

One thing that bothered me the most is the fact that Cindy made a comment like "did you see the children?" and Michael didnt say a word. Wouldnt he have at least said "uh, they have more than my son?" or something?

Oh well. Good episode.

From what I've learned during VIP Security duty...

A single handgun shot to the abdomen is not often fatal.

A rifle shot to the abdomen will hydro-shock a larger area of organs than a handgun, but the shock-wave doesn't cause more damage than the handgun puncture wound itself.

I wouldn't bet more than a twinkie on Shannon's fatality from one bullet. Only head, spine, and heart bullet entries would be instant killers.

Really enjoyed this episode. The next one should give us more answers. As far as the commercials did you notice high end ads for Lexus and Infinity? Commercials are good for now because they pay the bill to make LOST. Then when the DVD comes out we will have none. I think it is a good trade off to keep my favorite show on the air.

Were we supposed to make out any of the whispering in the forest by the others? My wife had her breast pump turned on so I couldn't hear anything...
