I didn't realize how much I missed him til he walked in to that flashback. Hope that's not the last of him, but with Shannon gone I don't see how they could bring him back. Unless he shows up in someone else's backstory.

When I saw him I realized how much I actually like him. Haha. But I like Shannon too.

Really like both Shannon and Boone - was great seeing Boone. Great looking, good actors. We are now left with 3 new main characters, none of which are great looking and two of which are annoying/ strange. Eko rocks, as for the other 2 would rather have continued to develop Shannon and Boone. Unfortunately do not think we'll ever see them again - so why were they ever on the show again?

speaking of boone, did anyone else notice anything odd during the second shot of boone's cross? right as it was showing the cross for the second time and the segway (sp) into the flashback, the screen split in two horizontally and there appeared to be a man in a green robe bending over to pick something up. it was for a split second and it didn't seem like a normal glitch.

i thought it was rather peculiar.

The best was his opening line (foreshadowing Shannon's demise?): "Death sucks, huh?" I burst out laughing!

Did you notice how jealous the mama was of Boone & Shannon? Made me wonder if she *knew* of their attraction for one another. I don't think they acted on it until later.

Yeah, it was nice to see Boone again.

Great to see Boone though. But what was with the bad hair?!?! It was at the same time that Jack had bad hair is his last flashback. yikes

I was definitely excited to see him - but sad to see he was the second casualty of flashback hair.

I guess we won't get to see him again, because I doubt Shannon will be having many flashbacks now... Although, you never know - Sawyer's doing ok with a gunshot wound, why not Shannon? As long as it didn't nick her aorta... we can hope :0

It was so great to see Boone again, I too did not realize how much I missed him...

That's twice now they've done this: they made us really like (or at least sympathize with) Boone AND Shannon, just before they died.

Boone was the hottest bit of manliness on the whole island. Despite someone else's comment on this board that Ian Somerhalder is a "poor man's Rob Lowe", I think he has incredible screen presence, and I look forward to seeing more of him in movies and on television. (C'mon, "Submariner"...!)

Ian was one of my faves in "Rules of Attraction". He truly captured the character of Paul. By the way, Swoozie Kurtz played Ian's mom in "Rules..."; the same actress who played Anabelle Locke.
