Ok, Boone heard a transmission on the beechcraft that may have been from another set of survivors, but he never got the chance to tell anyone before he died.

Since Cindy was a flight attendant, she would be the ONLY one who would know that Locke had been carried on the plane and normally used a wheelchair. Now that she is missing, that secret is still safe. Will she reappear and question him? That could be a good episode!

I really couldn't wait until everyone finds out that Locke was in wheelchair. But I don't know if that would be best. Everyone else might freak.

It was almost too convient that she disappears when she did. I wish I had taped this episode...Does anyone remember if Cindy spoke up tonight?!?! I wish I had a transcript...

And yeah, how trippy would it be if the Lostaways learned that Locke used to be a paraplegic? But then don't passengers notice one another during the waiting for the flight to arrive and boarding time? Any of the Lostaways could know it already but forgotten about it with all that's been going on.

I've been convinced of this for a while... once someone knows a secret, they are prevented from telling anyone. Boone, Cindy, Shannon. All knew something, all gone. Now that Sayid has seen Walt, too, will he be the next to go?

im sure when all international planes are boarded the handicapped and misc people are allowed on first, at least when i traveled la to sydney {like 500 ppl} and return- on quantas they were, and the rest of us had to wait, but not many pay attention because it takes a long time, and by the time one boards, there they {handicapped etc} are sitting and your still going to your seat, our losties may not have noticed lockes predicament for that reason

My Father can walk but not for a long time. When we travel he gets a wheelchair at the airport. When we went to Disney we got him one of those scooters. At the airport in NJ they actual used one of those golfcarts to take him from check-in to the gate. He got on the plane before 1st class. My husband, kids and I boarded with the rest of the plane. It was low key and one minute dad was sitting there and the next he was gone. If I didn't see him go, I doubt many noticed. They put his chair somewhere but I never saw it on the plane. I was glad to be standing...my dad was annoyed at the time he had to sit there until the rest boarded and the plane took off.

Not sure if Locke not being able to walk is a "secret" it is just not something that he goes around and tells anybody (maybe Walt though). More than likely it is something that anybody in the lobby would have noticed, but not paid any attention to it.

I probably would have remembered having a bunch of flight attendants and skycaps picking up a person and carrying them on board. The ramp doors are usually in an open area that is visible to anyone seated in the waiting area.

Locke hasn't kept it a secret really, he told Boone and didn't preface it with a, "Now keep this to yourself golden boy....".

They didn't carry him from the waiting area. Normally in these situations, the wheelchair user uses his own chair to get to the door of the plane - then transfers to the wheelchair that stores on the plane and can actually fit between those tiny aisles. So Locke rolled up to the door of the plane and they only carried him from the door to his seat.

Locke hasn't kept it a secret really, he told Boone and didn't preface it with a, "Now keep this to yourself golden boy....".

Hmmm, I don't remember Locke ever telling Boone he was paralyzed.

Locke also told Walt on the beach while playing backgammon in season 1. At least we are lead to believe that anyway. He asked Walt if he wanted to know a secret, and Walt said yes. Later, Michael asks Walt about the old man he was sitting with. Walt told Michael that Locke told him that a miracle had happened. I think Locke told Walt about the wheelchair.

Yeh, I think just about everybody has a secret and should have died by now... LOL Locke had the Hatch secret. Hurley had the Numbers/Billionaire secret (both of which he's let out now). Walt has the raft secret (that Locke figured out). Jack's got the Desmond secret that only Locke knows. Locke seems to know too much stuff... LOL

if you are trying to connect Locke to the deaths, I think you may be reaching a bit. I have a gut feeling Locke is involved with "The Others" in some way, but I have a funny feeling it is involved with helping free -

the children who are not evil but have been processed into the program such as walt and the kids from the tail section

I think ultimately Locke is a good guy, not a bad guy. BUT, they have a way of turning these characters on a dime.

I think Locke has heard the whispers, understands them, and is following instruction so that he can help someone.

He said "I have seen the heart of this island" and Ana said "thier jungle" I think that would happen to be one in the same. As in -

the children

Going back to the "who might of seen Locke in a chair"

When everyone is standing in a crowded line, only a small few notice the moving wheelchair. The height of the crowd creates cover for the low height of a person in a chair.
