Maybe Walt wasn't consious. cause something is very weird about this appearing Walt.

There must be some kind of connection between Walt and Shannon. Maybe it's Vincent?Who knows.

Walk knew Shannon was in danger and has been trying to warn her. At least that's my theory...

I think there's some sort of mental link between Walt and Shannon. They've both lost their sole parent and been further traumatized afterwards. Walt had to grow accustomed to Michael, not to mention the crash, and Shannon had to make her own way and harden to the world.

Also, Walt's mom thought he couldn't cope with knowing Michael cared for him, while Shannon was let down by Boone and Sabrina.

I completely agree. He was telling her to be quiet. If she would have realized this, she wouldn't have stumbled upon Ana Lucia in such a manner as to get herself shot.

I think because Walt isn't REALLY there. If Michael were to see him he wouldn't listen. Now Sayid has seen him so we don't need Shannon anymore.

Walt said: "They're coming and they're close." Shannon's just too ditzy to heed the warning! When a ghost zombie tells you to be quiet, you shut up!!

walt is dead, he is the one that will be lost forever. That is why he is speaking in tongues. Shannon will be fine. They have not tied up her and Boone's backstory. This is a classic Lost misdirection play. That is why they had spoilers so easy to find. They were just setting us up!

Walt appeared to Shannon because Shannon is caring for Vincent. She saw Walt in S2 Ep1 when she was looking for Vincent with Sayid (and got separated from Sayid). At the end of this episode, she had Vincent and Sayid with her, Vincent runs off again, and shortly after they saw Walt.

I can't clearly remember where Vincent was when Walt appeared in her shelter, but she'd given him water before she moved to the shelter (wonder how long... I guess we can't go there can we?) ...some time later Walt appears.

Anyone know where Vincent was then?

I'm not saying the Dog is Walt or anything like that, just that maybe Walt is honing in on the dog, somehow, someway, for whatever reason. Walt was certainly closer to that dog than he was to anyone else on the island.

I have a small theory about this Walt thing...

I think that he could have some telekinesis connection with Shannon/Sayid - and maybe anyone else as long as they are receiving his messages - and is therefore sending clues about the future. Like he supposedly said "push the button. Don't push the button" the first time he saw Shannon, and then he was telling them to be quiet this time, kind of warning them that the other group was coming towards them and to be quiet or else they might get hurt - he may have tried to prevent Shannon's death - but couldn't because it was predetermined (if we believe in fatalism) and in that case, Shannon's death could not be avoided.

I honestly think Walt's connected to Vincent. I mean, that dog's always around when people see spirit Walt or whatever the heck he is.
My advice, kill the dog, so nobody gets led to their deaths anymore.

I think Vincent was always protecting Walt from the others. Remember: they always wanted Walt and never went after him until he was on the boat, where Vincent was not! They may be able to outsmart people, but not be able to get past the dog.

Yea.... Although I still think that is not THE REAL WALT.

Then how do you explain the hole in Shannon's chest with blood pouring out of her...oh, that and her dying in Sayid's arms? Fine isn't the word I'd use to describe her...but hey, I guess anything is possible in world of LOST...

Walt is not speaking in tounges. Tonight in the tent he said "They are coming, and they are close" normally.
