Does anyone feel that their might be some sort of connection w/ Libby and Jack. She did say that she was a intern in the medical field before changing careers.

Maybe we'll find out during a flash back that something happend to Libby that Jack was involved in, that caused her to change fields.

Then she told Anna she had a year of med school before she dropped out. Didn't Desmond tell Jack he had a year of med school? COULD LIBBY BE THE CHICK IN THE PHOTO WITH DESMOND? Anyone? I read a few other threads analyzing this picture back at the beginning of the season. At the time nobody new who it was. Later other threads claimed it definitely wasn't Libby, but if I remember the picture correctly if definitely could have been. Another couple reunited through the island.

annieone 11-19-2005, 04:37 PM I have examined very carefully the Desmond/girl friend picture. I believe (I amalmost sure) that she is the same woman who tried to adopt Clarie's baby (the same actress, at least). And MAYBE also the same actress that plays Walt's nanny. Here I am not so sure, but they all have that long face and eyebrow desing.

Amber 11-19-2005, 07:09 PM The actress who plays Libby was on the Drew Carey show a few years ago. MUCH better acting on Lost, I have to say hehe. and I'm pretty sure that she was neither Walt's nanny or Desmonds girlfriend in that picture.

CountChocula 11-21-2005, 09:05 PM Actually, the woman in the picture is Mr. Eko. She had a sex change and became a man, and had reverse Michael Jackson surgery to darken her skin. She also took growth hormones and worked out maniacally, changed her voice to learn a Nigerian accent, and became devoutly religious. Then, she boarded a drug runner plane which crashed on the island which, coincidentally, was where Desmond also crashed. Fortuitiously, she was on the beach, dressed in a suit, at the precise moment the tailies crashed, and now cleverly has infiltrated their crowd. Won't she be surprised when she reunites with Desmond!
piscescat 11-21-2005, 09:55 PM Libby's a bit older than Jack so I doubt they were in med school together. Anything's possible on this show, of course.
