23 Nov, decent episode with the tailies re-united with the losties... lots of history, BUT

where has all the mythology gone? We got the hatch, the numbers operating on the island, the 'others' involved on the entire island, BUT the numbers are rolling and we have NO leads to what any of that is all about...

The dummy web sites are fun, but we'll need some dots to connect with the clues...

Isn't there a danger that the show could get bogged down in it's own history, and lose the mythical quality? I'm getting first-time friends tuning in and saying "so what?".

Something really supernatural needs to happen soon to re-jerk the plot into deep and unsettling mystery.
