fury-
currently i work at a television news station in production- mainly i'm just the technical director/graphics creator. i was wondering how a person interested in the production aspect of entertainment television (i'm almost sick of news) could get involved in the industry. i've read some of your responses to other people about writing and such, and how it is good to have contacts...is that the same standard for production and people who are interested in art direction, or is merely having experience enough?
thanks for any help you can provide. i didn't know who else to ask, but since you seem to be the person on the creative team who posts and/or responds the most i figured it couldn't hurt to post here.

ps- just so you know, the "lost" premiere campaign was the only reason i started watching and being genuinely interested in television again, after nearly a years hiatus- and i have yet to be truly disappointed with it thus far. great job, everyone.
