I did a little research and could find no mention of that Unit ever having been in Korea. Maybe he went into the 6th Army after he served in Korea!? The 6th Army was deactivated in 1995. That ended in 1953, and I don't think Kate was born in the 1950's! Since we are friendly with South Korea and not on great terms with North Korea, there are plenty of reasons for a military man to be on the peninsula. Korea!!! I'm just wondering if there is suppose to be a connection to the 6th Army and Korea. Also, when was Kate's meeting with her Army dad suppose to be happening? The 6th Army was deactivated in '95. Would he still have that 6th Army patch on his uniform?! Was she on the run for that long?!?!? |
