i posted a message to fury asking about production work, and another user here advised me to also post my question here since you're the guy in charge of the technical side of production.

basically, i was just wondering how someone would get into the production aspect of entertainment television. i'm currently working at a television news station in production- mainly i'm just the technical director/graphics creator. other people on the creative team have said that it is good to have contacts, in reply to people here wanting to get into acting, but does that apply for people interested in production work as well?
