this is strictly a character question. With times as they are; with the war going on, I think it is quite refreshing that the ethnicity and former occupation of your character has not affetcted the popularity of Sayid. And on the show, the only character that has really responded was Sawyer. Overall, I love the dynamic that a former member of the Republican Guard brings to the show. I was wondering if you were surprised that despite recent events and prejudices, your character, Sayid, has managed to be popular both with the characters on the show and fans watching at home?
