In all of the rave notices I've seen about Lost, I've read a lot of comparisons to "lost-type" stories in popular culture.
Yet, I haven't seen anything in these articles giving credit to the granddaddy of them all -- Robinson Crusoe.
Even camp classics such as Gilligan's Island -- in the closing theme song -- and Lost in Space -- in the castaways' surname -- had homages to this classic piece of English literature.
So, I was wondering if you have considered a nod to the novel? :)
