Upon watching all of these episodes (which is my greatest joy to do) I've seeked out the super secret twist ending that all of these shows have at the end of them.
We'll have to wait a while until I'm proved right. It's going to go a little something like this.
Well, all of this show LOST was really a new wave of reality. Super psyched out reality, where the contestants don't know that they're on a game show. You see it explains everything, the polar bears, jacks father, EVERYTHING.
It turns out that Jacks father had pet polar bears! Originally he was on bored with this evil network tycoon ABF, to do this to a random airplane of people. They purposefully sabatoged the radio on the plane, and new that they had a 40/60 chance that they would turn back, and in route (because they new the weather patterns so well) get lost and stranded on the island. There are camera crews all over the island. When they killed Jack's Fathers pet polar bear (Freddy) his father was heart broken. The producer came up to him and said "I'm sorry that you lost Freddy, but it was a minor pebble, on the mountain of really good tv" thats when he couldn't take it anymore. He tried to get Jack to follow him to where all the camera men were set up, but alas, they had all broken camp by the time Jack got there. All that was left were random props that were going to be used to the show, and were just going to slow the crew down while they ran. However, they did find good shelter, and fresh(ish) water.
The finale is going to go a little something like this
Jack: What do you mean none of this is real?!
Producer: OH NO! It's all real! We're just filming it all.
Jack: But what about the people who have died on this island? What about those monsters?
Producer: Isn't it great? The island really lent itself to us on that one! I couldn't have asked for a better location!
Jack:What about the people we've buried? What about the deaths on the plane? My God I've burned those people!
Producer: Yes, it was tragic. It was a beautiful ceremony really. I'm sure it's how they'd want to go. On tv and all. It's ashame, but hey, no one ever said reality was easy.
Okay...so maybe that was kind of in bad taste, but you have to admit, the way tv is going now days we're not far from it.
However; I wouldn't think so badly of JJ Abrams to allow that. I'm proud of JJ. I think he has a relative named Nadia...there's a Nadia in both ALIAS and LOST.
coincidence? Is it a coincidence that JJ produces both of them? HA...I thought not....
