Hi. English is not my main language, so Im sorry if things is unclair.

My questions is:

1. How long does it take to create an episode of Lost? From start writing it to the final product?
2. How long before the shooting does the actors get their scripts?
3. When you come up with ideas, how do you do it? Do you guys sit around a table and kinda like; Oh, I like this idea, or this is whats going to happen with Locke... How do you come up with all your ideas? Does the actors have anything to say about whats going to happen with their characters?
4. Which episode are you creating now?
5. How much does a episode cost to create? Which episode was the cheapest/most expensive one to create ( not counting the pilots)
6.Do you shoot all scenes in Hawaii or have you ever gone abroad for any of your scenes? (You MORE than welcome to Sweden. Bring Josh:biggrin: )
7. Do you know if there ever be another "meeting" between actors, creators and fans?

I want to say that, Lost is the only thing on TV that interest me right now. I love all the characters, the flashbacks, the whole concept. It might sound stupid, but I´m slightly obsessed. I feel like some kind of a geek. Then I´m a 28-year old mother.

Hi there!

I'll try to answer you questions one at a time:

1) It generally takes about 7-8 weeks to write, shoot and edit an episode of lost.

2) That varies, but we try to get it to them as soon as possible.

3) We all DO sit around a big table and discuss ideas until we arrive at something that excites us all. Then we pitch it to Damon and Carlton and continue to revise it until it's as good as we can possibly make it. - - The actors give suggestions from time to time, but generally leave the writing to the writers.

4) We are just about to wrap shooting on 214. And we are writing 217.

5) The show is very expensive to shoot. Which is why it (hopefully) looks so good on screen. The pilot was by far the most expensive, but the true cost of each episode varies according to how many special effects are required, etc.

6) Almost all the shots are filmed in Hawaii, barring special circumstances... Never in Europe yet, but I'll let Josh know he is welcome in Sweden!

7) I sure hope so!

I hope that helps. Thanks so much for watching!

Cheers,

Raggs
