St. Elsewhere (a doctor drama) was one of my favorite shows of the 80's with its strange brand of science, fantasy, medicine, drama, crime, and mystery. After a six year run, the final episode stopped me in my tracks and I was overwhelmed by the final revelation that the story was all in the imagination of an autistic child staring at a Snow Globe of the hospital building. The show has a lot of parallels with its continuing story lines, quirkiness, and ensemble cast of characters which contained some stellar actors such as William Daniels, David Morse, Mark Harmon, Howey Mandel, Denzel Washington, Helen Hunt, and Ed Begley Jr. What do you think do the two series compare favorably? I feel like you might be able to pull this off based upon the stength of the "Long Con." How about it Broke Back Boy?
