Knowing that everything happens for a reason, I wanted to know if perhaps the tree frog incident was a shout out to Jorge Garcia's early days as an actor. I seem to remember a seeing a bank commercial here in Indy featuring a princess who picks up a frog and then kisses the little critter instead of "skwishing it." Poof... the frog turns into a sly smiling rotund Prince (Jorge Garcia)??? Then the beautiful princess is suddenly surrounded by a bunch of little frogs lining up for their kiss.

Was that Jorge? Could "One of Them" and the little tree frog episode have been a shout out to Hurley's royal lineage as a frog prince... a sort of inside joke that Jorge was "one of them" little frogs? Do veiwers need to look beyond Egyptian
hieroglyphics, classic literature, and ancient myths, and now look to modern commercials in order to solve the islands mysteries?
