Hi Gregg,

I was wondering if the writers always have to get the blessing of Damon&Carlton for the story they wrote or is there kind of a blind trust towards every writer?
I would think that in order to assure that there aren't any logical errors in the story or other unfitting things it would be appropriate to give the script to a larger group of people/writers and let them review it. Is that how it's done?

Thx for this great show and greetings from Germany!

Hello, Hans.

Damon and Carlton are very involved every step of the way. Usually one of them (and sometimes both) are present in the room when the story is broken. Once that is done, it's pitched to them and they give notes. Then they read the outlines and scripts as they come in and give feedback to the writers.

Thanks for watching, and I'm glad you enjoy the show.

Thx for your answer! I find it so cool how close you all are to the fans. This show is really exceptional in many ways!

One more question if you don't mind. Will J.J. Abrams come back to the show? I hear he's not that involved lately because of Mission Impossible III..

Anyway, keep up the good work!

I don't know what J.J.'s schedule is. I send him copies of every outline and script, so I know he keeps up with the show. Maybe he will come back. But if MI:3 is a hit, then I would expect his feature career to take off and demand more of his time. So we'll see. Only J.J. really knows.

At least he knows that Lost is in the best possible hands :)
Thx for your time! Now I'm eagerly awaiting the next episode, Lockdown was just amazing. Great writing and Terry O'Quinn is a really terrific actor.
greetings
