What did you think?

Ha, so I gave it top marks. Not because it is *actually* the best hour of television ever broadcast, but because it is by far the best recap eppy ever, and because I know that the S2 rankings have already been compiled by jennylee27, and she's not going to figure it in the ratings from this episode. Plus, no one would ever count the ratings from this episode when compiling the S3 episode rankings. So... best eppy ever! ;)

I said definitely one of their best. I would have went higher, but didn't because it's only a recap.Karri love your avi.

I thought it was the best recap show so far. Fenry narrating was awesome.

Fenry narrating was genius.

I cannot wait to see what the evil, twisted and yet awesome guy does next season.

The best recap episode. Fenry sounded creppy as usual.

Agreeance, Laura! And it DID what a recrap eppy is supposed to do--cover all the important story lines, show off the best of each actors' performances, and leave you hungry for more, more, MORE!

Not to mention the best Narrator EVER!!

So who held the gun to ABC's head and made them do it RIGHT this time? :71:

I had to pick "Definitely one of their best" because while it's not an actual eppy, I think it is the best recap they've done out of S1 & S2!

whatever happened to "GOOD" as a choice? i've always wondered about that with the polls here. "not bad, but nothing special" just ain't the same thing at all. this was just good ol' good!

and i loved the totally deadpan fenry narration.

Pretty good... great for a recap, but I'm more hyped up about next week.

I really liked Fenry doing the narration. It was interesting to hear things from his point of view... like the part about Michael on the computer (was it really Walt or a trick by the Others?).

They pretty much covered everything of major importance and explained the roles of all the major characters for those casual viewers of LOST to get caught up.

Only thing I didn't see was any clip of the smoke monster. We got the scene where Locke sees it, but I didn't actually see a scene that actually showed the monster (like when Eko and Charlie see it). Other than that it was pretty good.

8 out of 10. But if I hear Fenry Gale say "we're the good guys", I'll pummel him to death!:chair:

Definitely their best recap ever! Having Fenry doing the narrative was all that more enjoyable.

Enjoyed it...in a way it actually made it easier to notice the "zingers" that TPTB threw in there for the geeks to notice...i.e., things that made me think "why did they put THIS in a re-cap" epi?

When I'm watching a regular epi, I'm so afraid I'm going to miss "something" (and I usually do) because almost everything is significant that it can get overwhelming.

It was nice to be able to sit back and relax to watch this episode. ;)

I was fairly disappointed. I told my friends to watch in hopes they would get hooked to the show, but they came to me today even more confused.

I can see that... but it's difficult to recap two years of LOST for someone who hasn't seen any of it (in one hour).

If they are willing to give Season 3 a chance, they will probably be hooked before they realize it. ;)

Makes me wonder if someone could jump on now without watching the first 2 seasons... And I wished I had taped this so I could watch it again with an eye to what a newcomer would/was-meant-to see!

I rated it "good but nothing special". I liked how it was narrarated by "Fenry" *crosses fingers he gets a name in S3* and that it started with Desmond. That got my attention. But all in all, to me it was just a recap. Not too exciting...I am way to anxious for next weeks epi...so that is probably why it was anti-climatic for me.

I thought it was, by far, their best recap show ever. Henry was an excellent... and just slightly creepy, narrator. What made it so good, however, was the amount of care that was taken to put together the important information to focus on about each character. Everyone was featured, every had some time spent on him or her, in contrast to the last recap show which seemed entirely Jack centric, giving little time or importance to anyone else.

Very well done! I do hope they'll use this a the template for future recap shows. :)

Excellent recap! It is hard to fit all of the info into 1 hour. Why did Fenry narrate? Is Danielle not important, or is she? Can't wait til the 4th!

lol, now that I have my season 2 dvd set, I have a lot of post-catching to do. That was a great way to get the first two season wrapped up nicely. Great job!

Namaste, Eric.
