Very few shows in the style of Lost go shippy, and still stay intriguing and well written. In fact I don't think any do. X-Files was the best, when the relationship was underlying and never actually explored. Alias went the way of crap once it got too shippy.

Are you kidding? With Sawyer and Kate, the entire relationship could take place off screen! We could get the whole thing from their moods... sweet smiles one day, not talking to each other and glares another day. They can do it all humor, flirting, serious partners in hard times, battling inner demons, angst, sexual chemistry. They're a writers' dream! I just hope they're THESE writers' dream. LOL!

I know this is off topic but, I think that Jack Black starring in The Holiday and The Pick of Destiny (which come out almost simultaneously) is hilarious.

It has been a part of this show from day one. And you don't know where it is going. And, saying it jumped the shark is just tired as hell.

It was underlying with a kiss here and there. Not a central part of the show. IT's gonna take a really great show with great intrigue and make some of it soap operish and less cerebral. It's almost like they're trying to attract the Grey's Anatomy Audience.

But hell, if you like the shippy soap opera part of the show, more power to you. I liked the cerebral mysteries without the soap opera effect.

It was less than a minute of an hour long episode. And I'm not actually a big fan of that part of the show. But it adds layers to the show and it is certainly not a JTS moment.
