Does anyone have information as to whether there will be a delay in production for the next few episodes of Season 3? I know they have a very tight production schedule, it is possible that being w/ out power for a day or two, damage to sets or studios, and so forth could throw a wrench into their schedule. i have not been able to find anything to this effect, could that be reason to believe it will not?

The power (as far as LOST production sites/equipment was concerned, anyway) was only out in Oahu on Sunday, N.E. LOST production generally takes Sunday off, anyway. So they were back shooting, right on schedule, on Monday. There's a story about this at Lost-Media.com, if you scroll down far enough on the main page.

The production schedule shouldn't be affected due to the huge break in transmission between episodes 6 and 7 ( :frown: ), which will allow the production team to get back ahead before the show comes back in February.
The quake hit the Big Island, not Oahu. (roughly 180 miles away).
Oahu lost power because two of the generator stations shut down due to an automatic protection system picking up vibrations, and that triggered the rest of the grid going.
Oahu didn't get a big shake, although people up in highrises certainly felt it.

I doubt a small tremor will delay production enough to warrant any delay in the airing of the second portion of season 3. It was a large quake on the big island, but it was barely felt on Oahu.
