I forgot he was in the room with all the monitar. But according to Ben, Danny seem like he really want Sawyer, and I think it more than his remark about Colleen, because he was treating Sawyer badly, before Colleen was shot. Ben inidcated to Jack, that they are not the bad guys, yet he seem like he would allow Danny to kill sawyer, if they didn't need him anymore.When Ben found out that Danny wanted to kill Sawyer, Ben said to Pickett , "in due time". Which indicate that they do not plan on keeping Sawyer, Jack and Kate alive for long. So , do you think that the others are planning on killing Jack, Sawyer and Kate, after they do, what the others need them to do?

I thought that Sawyer/Kate had weird parallels to Danny/Colleen when we first saw them together. Danny reminds me of Sawyer in about 15 years. And Colleen is certainly an older doppleganger for Kate. Not so much in looks, but certainly in attitude and behavior. And Danny definitely has had it in for Sawyer from the beginning... long before tonight's episode.

I have pointed out before that the Others seem to "pair up" with certain Losties. Ethan/Claire, Goodwin/Ana, Walt/Ms. Klugh, Jack/Juliet, Ben/Locke. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but it certainly seems strange that Danny seems to be so emotionally involved with Sawyer, a man who he supposedly just met a week ago.

What seemed really scary to me was Benry's reply "Danny can wait".....like he will eventually let him kill Sawyer....

My husband and I were talking about this after the episode and Danny's had it in for Sawyer since they took them prisoner. Danny was strick with Michael but not contunually abusvie as far as we could see. It's like it's personal with him. Sawyer may have conned his wife (not Colleen - she didn't seem to have any harsh feeling about the prisoners) or sister. I fully expected Danny to be in the background on Sawyer's FB but he wasn't.

I think he just said that to give Tom something to tell Danny. He keeps telling the Losties that they aren't killers and they're good but everything we've seen seems to point to the opposite. He had better keep a tighter rein on Danny though because it doesn't look like anyone answers to anyone concerning how prisoners are treated.

Or maybe Danny is just bitter about getting his butt kicked by Sawyer in TGB.

We thought the same thing, Conniewe! Ben certainly didn't say "Well, he can't."

Colleen got shot because the losties were trying to rescue Jack, kate and Sawyer. He was angry at all of the losties at that point. He couldn't exactly beat up the girl and Jack was being handled by Ben. Sawyer, whom he had a prior beef with, and who was scared to death by the illusory pacemaker, was an easy target.

When Ben said "Danny can wait" I didn't think he meant that Danny would have to wait to kill Sawyer - I took it to mean that it was a situation Ben would have to deal with, but not yet. Just another angle to look at it from.

I think all things what everybody is doing with Sawyer is only for messing with Kate.. Everybody there knows she dies for him.

He didn't take the others seriously and got on Danny's nerves. Danny showed his frustration first in the whole "Shocked! I said shocked!" scene. Jack and Kate had cooperated to a certain extent and Sawyer hadn't up until this episode.
