So how long pre-crash would this have been? He made a big deal (to "Costanza") that he had been there 9 months (nicely setting up Cassidy's announcement.) Do we know when the con was that sent him to jail, and thus how long before the 815 flight this all might have been? How old is darlin' Clementine by now?

Yeah... Wondered that myself.

He was busy with another chickee when he found out that Frank Sawyer was supposedly in Austrailia.

Obviously Cassy turned him in.

Wonder where the "Tampa Job" fits in??

I'm fairly sure that dear little Clementine is just the nickname Cassidy uses for her wallet. ;)

Seeing he called the other con "Costanza" that would be a Seinfeld reference putting his stay in prison pre-2000 as Seinfeld went off the air I think in the late 90s...maybe '98. I think the first show was in 1989 and they ran nine years.

Cassidy was a con person as well. She probably did con him.

I wonder too how long ago that was. There's that time Kate knocked him down and landed on top of him, and he said he'd made that birthday wish 'four years ago'. Considering he put money in an Albuquerque bank for his daughter, and Kate robbed a bank there as well - maybe he happened to see her there? Though I would hope he wouldn't have been there making a withdrawel. :71:

I hope we get to see the Tampa Job. :( And something from his childhood. This backstory was a little bit on the boring side, till the end. That was sweet. *sniff*

Think reruns, my friend. ;) Costanza was put in the public consciouness circa 1989, and he's still referenced today, so it could have been any time after that.
