Anyone other than me find it a little odd? Seems as though she, in Sayid's words has "forgotten."

TheDome 10-26-2006, 01:11 AM You aren't the only one, I'm firmly in the camp of "put one on the board for our side." that Sawyer was espousing. jeng8778 10-26-2006, 01:14 AM I noticed the same thing. I was shocked when she asked Sawyer "What are you smiling about?". I would have been doing a dance of joy if I was in one of those cages. Angela12 10-26-2006, 02:28 AM I can understand both Sawyer and Kate's reactions. Yes, Colleen was one of the Others, a group of people who have subjected them to all kinds of fear and suffering, but that being said, she hadn't done anything personally to either Kate or Sawyer. Darbi 10-26-2006, 02:37 AM I think Sawyer's comments had nothing to do with finding delight, or joy in Colleen's pain or her demise. He was looking for a way to get them out. They've been subjected to living in cages, slave labor...and for Sawyer, shock treatment. Like he told Kate, the had been shot, and it wasn't by her own people which meant "their" people were close. Rescue, in his mind was coming, or at least close. Little did he know. Now, the question is whether or not he really intended to leave Jack behind. I believe he did because at the moment, that was the only way he could play it. They hadn't seen Jack, didn't know where he was being kept, or if he was even alive. Go back to camp, regroup...and then go after Jack. The two of them unarmed, going after Jack...having no lay of the land...not a good strategy. |
