Actually, that was a very promising beginning. Hurley talking to Libby at her grave was touching. Hurley blaming his "curse" for Desmond's Charlie-will-die prediction was in character. Vincent not being who he appears to be remains constant. Now the van--

That didn't look like an Apollo bar, it was all blue.. Apollo bars have big yellow letters on them.

Noticed a little error already. The first time we see vincent running the arm is facing the other way in his mouth and dangling a bit. Then the second time when he's a bit closer there is no dangling and it's facing the way we see it for the rest of the scene... Little creepy. Do you think that first scene with Hurley provides some insight on why he ended up so overweight? Daddy issues purhaps? His mom looks so sad looking at his thru that window...

I thought a ship in the middle of the island was a bit odd - but the van - well that is really odd but very cool - can't wait to figure this one out!

You can't have Kate give a cursory debriefing to Sayid and Locke and then walk away on a rescue mission.

Sorry. You just can't do that. And I don't buy that they've just not shown the debriefing scene. Hurley and Jin didn't take that long to get back to the van. Sorry. BAD writing!

The psychic scene was a good satire on all the psychic stuff this show has had since Season 1. I'll give you that.

I'd just enjoy this whole eppy better if we'd had a bit more balance. You just can't go from extreme drama to extreme humor at whim. The opening was well-done, balance wise. I just wish they could've kept it going. Oh, well.

Haha, great stuff. For some reason, the idea of pushing a vehicle down a hill makes me think of that Arnold S. movie, Commando. I think he pushed a truck down a hill and steered it through the forest.

Anyway, definitely needed an episode like this. Good episode whether or not any mythology gets covered.

This is much better than the "Dave" episode - which I thought was going to be great, but was not quite up to expectations. I think Lost is picking up steam again by putting the flashbacks back into the show.
