here!here!!!!! By far one of the best lines of the eppy.! Jack has been one of my least fav. charactors........till this season. I have stepped back and taken a longer view of the doc, and all I can say is Foxy really, really needs an Emmy, and kudos to the writers for taking Shepard in a whole new direction!

Even after he saw Kate lying there in Sawyer's arms, he still cares about her. I'm not one to get too much into the character aspect of the show (Jate and Skate and all of that), but I did think it was very romantic.

Locke's discussion with Sayid where he says something akin to "I think Eko died for a reason. I just don't know it yet." Totally season one Locke. I guess I'm just still basking in the glory of having Locke back.

This was the line that cracked me up. I don't remember how he said it, but I thought it was a total shout out to us. He said something like, "I think Eko died for a reason. Hopefully before too long we'll find out what that was." I thought it was a great dig at all the unanswered questions that are dragged on to eternity. If anyone has the exact quote it was really funny.

Kate calling Sawyer James. I wonder if that'll stick, though I do prefer Sawyer.

I agree, this was the bright spot in an otherwise dismal episode. I had to snicker at the look on Ben's yap when Jack told hime "you won't have to be disappointed for long"

My favorite lines were when the preacher went on and on about how Kate's great qualities were honesty and "what you see is what you get".

And I always love the marshall.

I thought when Ben, on the operating table, said, "Well, see you on the other side". was very poignant. I think that statement has so many meanings.

This wasn't really a line, but I liked the camera work in the scene where Jack and Kate were looking at each other through the glass. It was specially arranged so that the reflections could be seen in the glass, so it had the effect of making it look like they were blending into one another - Kate's reflection showing where Jack was, and Jack's reflection showing where Kate was.

The title of this season's first episode was "A Tale of Two Cities", so I guess Jack is being compared to Sydney Carton.... sacrificing himself to save another man who is loved by the woman that he loves.

Alright I've got a couple to add.

I think my favorite line was when Sawyer was back in his cage and he turns to Kate and says "And how was your day Honey?"

My brother wanted me to add the part when Ben was going into surgery. Jack tells him to count down from 20 and he says "Twenty, nineteen, eight..." and he's gone.. awesome :biggrin:

Oh, I loved the beginning of that Jack, Kate scene too. Just so emotional.

The line that made me LOL was when Sawyer said "well at least the good doc has sense enough not to do it!" hehehe Hemay be Jack's "rival" for Kate's affection, but it is clear that he respects Jack's intellect.

I've got a few more to add now i've watched it again.

Kevin and Kate talking about how it's bad luck to see the bride in her dress before the wedding and he says "You, my friend, are naked"

One of my favorites: Kate saying "No Sawyer, we're a team" when she wants them to work together

I think it's funny how Juliet tells Jack and Kate "I'll give you two some privacy" as if she's not just going to go into another room to watch them through a camera.

It's so great when Sawyer says "I wanted you to believe that we had a d*** chance"

Also ironic when Juliet says "I've always been very good at just following orders". Considering she's the one that seems to be going against her authority, it's a pretty interesting quote.
