No. I'd say the marriage came before the bank robbery in Kate's timeline. She had to take off in a hurry--and probably wasn't dragging a toy plane in tow at that point!

After all, James had just been captured for the Tampa job (according to Kevin), and he was in jail for a year before he wangled his release. So my guess is that the marriage happened soon before the Iowa visit to mom, and certainly before the toy plane bank robbery.

Kate WAS headed to Tallahassee when Ed Mars first arrested her, remember. Maybe over a few weeks/months, she made it to Florida. Kevin did say their romance was short. Maybe Kate was tired of running, and thought she COULD settle down. But it was not to be. . . .

No real reason. She was just on the run.

Of course, they would always write in a flashback which would show if she was up to something down under.

I don't think she took the tickets with her when she fled.
Maybe she was inspired by them to later go to Australia hoping to shake the Marshal off her trail?

the feds coulda traced the ticket exchange. they would know when and where kate would be. and would have apprehended her at boarding. i'd say she did not trade the tickets. unless kevin kept their existence a secret, which is possible.
