Sawyer is alot weaker now that he cares for someone more than himself.

I mean I'm a skater and all, but I was rooting for the OLD kate to be with Sawyer. You know, the productive self capapble kickass kate...this...present kate is doing nothing but being excess baggage that could end up getting him killed!

I mean, they made it overly clear that Sawyer could take out Pickett even with a gun pretty easily if he chose to. Whats holding him bk? The wimpy whiney not gonna do anything kate.

I mean kates done absoulutly nothing productive this mini season, and all shes really done is fioled Sawyer's attempts twice by standing sitll and doing nothing.

I'm starting to wonder now if kate keeps it up like this is she isnt really only a ball and chain and if Sawyer isnt better off on his own. I want the old kate back! then Skate could be great!

And for the Jaters out there, even you gotta agree that if it were the other way around an it was Jack in Sawyer's place it would be really annoying to have her bring him down like this!

Can't help but think there must be more to it though. Like when they brought her back and her wrists were cut up? but they can't be expecting the casual viewer to remember stuff like that.

I just don't know....

Well i half agree and half don't, she's never given up hope, but she understand that she and sawyer have to work as a team. She's not looking after numero uno alone now, all her actions have some sort of reaction upon sawyer. She has to be careful.

And i would love kickass kate to come back too, and if you check out the promo for epi7 they showed, kate is about to go GI-Jane on that randoms others ***, and there is a shot of her and sawyer running through the jungle....so don't worry, just cause she's sawyers gal now, shes not going to lose all of her toughness :D

Now that they are together I 'm positive, we'll see more of our beloved badass kate.

Bad girl Kate is why I preferred the Sawyer/Kate pairing in the first place. I only thought she'd play the wilting flower with Jack. I think Kate's shown some spine in these episodes, but not nearly as much as she has in the past. I really thought this episode would be the one, but I guess I'm going to have to wait patiently for February. The promo seemed pretty promising. Looked like she was about to elbow the guy with the gun in the face. Then Sawyer will be able to take down Pickett and we then get a shot of them running.
