Pickett said that Jack wasn't on "Jacob's list". Earlier he implied that Sawyer was expendable- so Jacob must want Kate? Why? Maybe because she's the only woman of child bearing age who hasn't been killed, isn't pregnant and didn't have a baby a few weeks ago? (We know Kiley doesn't count because she's just a red shirt :)
